Dorset is Surrey's opposite in almost every way. Less commuter belt, more ancient landscape. The Olle circuit begins and ends at Wareham — an underrated Saxon market town — and takes in four completely distinct terrains: the Jurassic Coast cliffs, the chalk downland of Cranborne Chase, the lush clay vale of Blackmore, and the reed beds of Poole Harbour.
Unlike Surrey, most Dorset sections are not yet train-accessible at both ends — bus connections and occasional taxis will be needed on some sections. We are mapping this honestly.
