About this walk
From Horsley the path heads north across open farmland, following the River Wey up toward the roofless walls of Newark Priory, an Augustinian house left to the water since the Dissolution. Ockham, birthplace of the philosopher whose razor still cuts through cluttered thinking, lies a short way off the path before the walk finishes at West Byfleet.
